Made by masters of wootz crucible steel and used by top knife makers around the world. These fine Damascus steel blades are available to hobbyist and professional knife maker alike.

Damascus is an excellent steel for knife blades. Damascus is notable for holding a better edge, being more durable and harder to break than regular stainless steel most knifes are made of. And, of coarse, damascus is beautiful. A damascus steel knife is one of the few truly practical tools that can also qualify as a work of art.

These damascus knife blade blanks are full pattern welded steel [1095 high carbon + 15N20 Swedish carbon/nickel alloy] folded in multiple layers and forged by hand. They are selectively hardened in brine and tempered in oil [56/58 Rc].
